The SHE Scholars Program is a transformational leadership and wellness initiative designed for collegiate women of color ages 18-24. Through mentorship, community, leadership development, and holistic wellness experiences, SHE Scholars gain the support, resources, and network needed to thrive academically, personally, and professionally.
Selected scholars receive sponsorship to attend the annual SHE Retreat and participate in a year-long experience focused on growth, empowerment, service, and meaningful cross-generational connections.
A fully immersive wellness and leadership retreat designed to help scholars rest, reflect, connect, and grow.
Access to individual and group mentorship opportunities with accomplished women committed to supporting your journey.
Workshops, enrichment experiences, networking opportunities, and skill-building sessions throughout the year.
A supportive network of fellow scholars, mentors, and SHE alumni who encourage and uplift one another.
Opportunities to develop confidence, leadership skills, wellness practices, and community engagement.
Applicants must:
✓ Be a woman-identifying college student between the ages of 18-24
✓ Not currently be enrolled in high school
✓ Submit a completed application
✓ Participate in a 15-minute interview
✓ Commit to attending the full SHE Retreat (March 19-22, 2026)
✓ Participate in all required SHE Scholars activities throughout the year

Selected applicants will receive an official invitation to join the SHE Scholars cohort.
Attend the annual SHE Retreat and begin your scholar journey.

As a Year 1 SHE Scholar, you agree to:
Monthly virtual engagement sessions provide:
Attendance is required with no more than three excused absences annually.
In addition to Year 1 responsibilities, Year 2 Scholars:
In addition to previous responsibilities, Year 3 Scholars:
Scholars may participate in the program for up to three years.
At the end of each program year, scholars may:
Continue advancing through the program and unlocking expanded leadership opportunities.
Remain connected to the community while serving as ambassadors, supporters, mentors, and advocates for future scholars.

Transportation to and from the retreat is not included and remains the responsibility of the scholar.
To remain in good standing, scholars should:

✓ Stay connected through SHE communication platforms
✓ Contribute positively to the growth and culture of the SHE community

The JEMS Program is a transformative initiative by Bridge Every Gap designed to empower middle and high school girls through mentorship, leadership development, enrichment, and sisterhood. JEMS serves as a pipeline of empowerment, intentionally nurturing girls into confident, equipped, and purpose-driven young women prepared to transition into SHE Scholars and beyond.
Through engaging experiences, meaningful mentorship, and a supportive community, participants gain the tools, confidence, and connections needed to thrive academically, socially, and personally.

June/July | 3 Weeks
An interactive virtual experience designed to inspire growth, connection, and learning during the summer months through engaging workshops, discussions, and enrichment activities.
September – February | 6 Months
A monthly enrichment experience providing continued mentorship, skill-building opportunities, leadership development, and community engagement throughout the school year.

JEMS participants have the opportunity to participate in the dedicated JEMS track during the annual SHE Experience Retreat, connecting with peers, mentors, and women leaders across generations.
